Urban Stories & Distant Places

About

Photography, for me, begins with a reason to stop.

I’m a photographer based near Paris, drawn to places with a strong sense of atmosphere — the geometry of a city, an empty road through the mountains, old architecture, changing light, or a landscape that seems completely removed from everyday life.

My photography moves naturally between urban environments and more remote places. Paris is an endless source of lines, architecture and contrasts, while travelling — particularly through Portugal — has led me towards villages, mountains, coastlines and roads where the journey itself often becomes part of the photograph.

I don’t try to document everything I see. I’m interested in the places and moments that make me want to stop, look again, and take the camera out.

regard_urbain brings those images together: urban stories, distant places, and everything I find worth remembering in between.
